Hello

Hi there! Welcome to my portfolio. My name is Brian and I am a student in college at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I am currently studying Web Development and learning as much as I possibly can before I enter the IT industry.

From a young age, computers and the Internet has fascinated me with not only their complex (and sometimes frustrating) architecture, but also their constant evolution and changes happening every single day. The web is a fascinating place, and to keep up and stay relevant in the Web Dev industry, one must keep up with current and new innovations as well as be open to trying new technologies, environments, and tools. In short, one must be able to step out of their comfort zone and be okay with ongoing change. My knowledge has been growing and expanding for years, so I'd say I'm on the right track with this fact.

I am familiar in HTML5/XHTML, CSS and SASS, Javascript and JQuery, PHP, MySQL/MySQLi, SQL, ASP.NET MVC5, and version control software such as Git/GitHub. As for studying in my free time, I am currently studying AngularJS and Vue.js as well as databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Learning new web languages and technologies is a fun hobby of mine, and with so many in existence and more to be created in future, I will never stop learning and growing.

When I am not coding and creating projects/websites, I enjoy taking walks, reading, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.
